Structural Guidelines On Award Writing
Background:
An award is nothing more than a structured account of relevant facts and applicable law, with a conclusion to which the parties are bound by agreement. However, arbitrators often find themselves afflicted by writer’s block when they have to put pen to paper. The discussion will focus on generally accepted award writing structures and guidelines which may assist arbitrators and aspirant arbitrators.
